Fundraising

Limited public school funds cannot provide for all of the programs we want our children to have. Fundraising dollars provide materials, events and learning opportunities. Here are examples of where the money is spent:

  • Passport Club and RAD
  • Amity Interns and International Night
  • Classroom projects and Art Appreciation
  • Special assemblies and Field Trips
  • School ground improvements
  • Grade level grants and Spanish library books

Passive Fundraising

  • Jamba Juice Reward Card - When you visit Jamba Juice, 10% of your purchase goes to Puesta del Sol. To pick up your Jamba Rewards card  contact Christy Hanson at christy@lhanson.com to request one.
  • eScrip - Register your Safeway Card online at EScrip.com, designate Puesta del Sol, Bellevue, and shop at Safeway. Each time you swipe your card and shop, PTA gets 10% of your purchase.
  • 'B' Caring Card-Visit your local Bartell Drugs and pick up a 'B' Caring Card today.  Select Puesta Del Sol PTA #8567184 and when you shop PTA gets up to 4% of qualifying purchases. Fill Out Form
  • Box Tops for Education - Clip Box Tops from General Mills products and put them in the box in the school office. Each Box Top is worth 10¢.
  • Labels for Education - Save the UPC labels from products including Campbells Soup, Pepperidge Farm, Swansons & V-8 and put them in the box in the school office.
  • Albertson's Community Partner Card - Go to www.albertsons.com/abs_inthecommunity/ and click on the ‘Community Partners’ logo. Register your Preferred Savings Card and Puesta del Sol will get a percentage of every purchase you make.
  • Target's Take Charge of Education Program Target will donate 1% of Target Visa and Target REDcardSM purchases made at Target and Target.com, and ½% of Target Visa purchases made elsewhere. Enroll and designate our school at www.target.com.
  • QFC and Fred Meyer shoppers: Register your cards at online here.  Points go directly to our school for educational, athletic, and musical items.
